About

In this workshop we examine texts together and try to improve them, learn from our mistakes and from each other, and try to learn to write better.

How to best use this workshop:

In a workshop, we primarily learn by working and by doing things, so don’t just read other people’s translations; roll up your sleeves and try to get involved. We are not all second Shakespeares. We may all make mistakes, even silly ones, but that is the price we have to pay for learning. So, don’t be afraid of making mistakes: Write, make mistakes, learn from your mistakes, Write better!

In this workshop, we are going to learn from each other a lot, so if you use a part of another user’s comment in your comment, it is certainly a good idea to acknowledge that person’s contribution.
One final point: It’s all right if you comment on other people’s comments, criticise, suggest improvements, praise etc, but that’s not the prime reason why we are here. Do comment on other people’s comments by all means but first and foremost: Write!
