One of the interesting aspects of running a website is tracking the number of visitors and where they come from.
Yesterday on 1stparagraph.com we had one visitor from a place called Tauranga. According to the Map in Google Analytics (which is the service I use to statistically analyse my site) it’s somewhere to the southeast of Australia. It would be interesting to know how he or she has found our site though this jungle they call the Internet, through a search engine most probably.
Anyway, I searched for Taurangaon Wikipedia and here is the result:
Tauranga (population 107,706) is the largest city of the Bay of Plenty region of the North Island of New Zealand. It is the ninth largest city area in the country, and the centre of the sixth largest urban area. Tauranga is 105 km east of Hamilton and 85 km north of Rotorua, and is the city with the fastest growing population in New Zealand.
1stparagraph.com is gradually growing into a truly international site as the map shows. Any suggestions to make it more popular?
